Jam Jar

In this transition, each of us has become future-ready even before we thought of it, similarly, we have also obtained so many options unlatched. When we were kids, we all wanted to become a doctor, someday a lawyer, or maybe run a business or something. Skip to 20 years and you see different career choices right in front of you. The follow-up question is how does one know which career is best suited for them? So, I happened to recently read this book The Defining Decade by Meg Jay- which had a very beautiful case study I’d like to share. It is called the Jam experiment, so they choose a local grocery store to understand one's life choices. So, there were two conditions, one which has six flavors available for tasting, whereas in the second condition it has six plus the eighteen more flavors of jam. Cut to the chase study showed that the twenty-four-flavor table attracted more attention yet resulted in fewer buyers. Why you should practice gratitude?🤔

As it is rightly said, develop an attitude of gratitude. In recent times, it is mainly overlooked, as people have been going through so much and it is hardly possible for some to be positive. As a matter of fact, gratitude is a great exercise which can allow us to tune into details of our lives which we often ignore. If you are in your down phase, start brick by brick thank about a skill you learned, if not skill thank that you didn’t get sick and if we got sick thank that you at least did not die. All in all, there are alway...

You never know what someone is going through

As someone who usually takes times to process information which comes to me as a disclosure, my mind gets completely shut. I take attempts when to take something to heart and when not. Of course we get clarity as we grow old. Today it's about  everyone who is going through something with a happy exterior. We assume situations who has either acted discourteous or have hurted us by certain piece of information, you might be inseperable with that person but sometimes that's what is inside them and you still may never know about it. There is always a reason for that certain kind of behaviour. It didn't crop me that even if the person is transparent he might not have the courage of talking as he may not want to get judged hence drawing a viel over his feelings. When the cruel reality is revealed I think it's more about the person who said it rather than you. Try to know the reasoning of their behaviour, and if you feel to give a second chance and trying to make things work i...
