In this transition, each of us has become future-ready even before we thought of it, similarly, we have also obtained so many options unlatched. When we were kids, we all wanted to become a doctor, someday a lawyer, or maybe run a business or something. Skip to 20 years and you see different career choices right in front of you. The follow-up question is how does one know which career is best suited for them? So, I happened to recently read this book The Defining Decade by Meg Jay- which had a very beautiful case study I’d like to share. It is called the Jam experiment, so they choose a local grocery store to understand one's life choices. So, there were two conditions, one which has six flavors available for tasting, whereas in the second condition it has six plus the eighteen more flavors of jam. Cut to the chase study showed that the twenty-four-flavor table attracted more attention yet resulted in fewer buyers. Shoppers flocked to the exciting array, yet most became overwhelmed

Being yourself is the new cool

Read a quote and could not stop thinking about it since them: “The power of universe will come to your assistance, if your heart and mind are in unity” We belong to a generation where we effortlessly get influenced by our peers and surroundings. Interesting part is that we wish to do a few things that make us look “cool”. Hand on heart, we always know what we exactly resist. Why can’t we just be ourselves instead of just being cool? I contemplate is being yourself is the new cool. Surprisingly, even when we are matured, we want to be socially accepted. However, I am sure that if you have a habit of having a self-conversation you shall know when and what you truly wish to do. Ask yourself does this really make you happy within or does it not? While I am writing I am affirmative that you can recall a few instances. Till date, I sometimes do things which make me feel so little of myself. Nevertheless, I keep remembering myself that once you are at an ease with yourself, what others think
