Jam Jar

In this transition, each of us has become future-ready even before we thought of it, similarly, we have also obtained so many options unlatched. When we were kids, we all wanted to become a doctor, someday a lawyer, or maybe run a business or something. Skip to 20 years and you see different career choices right in front of you. The follow-up question is how does one know which career is best suited for them? So, I happened to recently read this book The Defining Decade by Meg Jay- which had a very beautiful case study I’d like to share. It is called the Jam experiment, so they choose a local grocery store to understand one's life choices. So, there were two conditions, one which has six flavors available for tasting, whereas in the second condition it has six plus the eighteen more flavors of jam. Cut to the chase study showed that the twenty-four-flavor table attracted more attention yet resulted in fewer buyers. Shoppers flocked to the exciting array, yet most became overwhelmed

Grow through what you go through

Do you look back, often see yourself and realize that you have changed a lot? If you think that you fall in the above category, congratulations you are growing. This thought has been muddling me for quite a few days. So, I pondered upon it and realized that it is just that we are EVOLVING. None of us wants to be on the darker side, but it’s that you go through and be a better version of y

Appreciating your courage as you go through unspoken struggles

To humans, Last month has been really overwhelming for me. I was going through something which I hardly felt like talking about. Albeit, being a personality who loves to chatter and talk about things which are disturbing me I preferred to keep shut. However, let bygones be bygones but I am grateful to have my friends and family besides me. Hence, I had this urge to write a letter for everyone because all of us are going through some unspoken struggles; so just wanted to drop by and appreciate your courage. As it is said to make the best of a bad situation. I know you are observing and learning from things around you; recognizing what and how you feel. Such times assist us in putting efforts on how we can make ourselves feel better. One day at a time and this too shall pass. Let me just take a moment and tell you how proud I am of you as you still choose to go in spite of the fear you feel. Don’t blame or take yourself for granted when you cannot make up for something. Behind, each smil
