Jam Jar

In this transition, each of us has become future-ready even before we thought of it, similarly, we have also obtained so many options unlatched. When we were kids, we all wanted to become a doctor, someday a lawyer, or maybe run a business or something. Skip to 20 years and you see different career choices right in front of you. The follow-up question is how does one know which career is best suited for them? So, I happened to recently read this book The Defining Decade by Meg Jay- which had a very beautiful case study I’d like to share. It is called the Jam experiment, so they choose a local grocery store to understand one's life choices. So, there were two conditions, one which has six flavors available for tasting, whereas in the second condition it has six plus the eighteen more flavors of jam. Cut to the chase study showed that the twenty-four-flavor table attracted more attention yet resulted in fewer buyers. Shoppers flocked to the exciting array, yet most became overwhelmed

Grow through what you go through

Do you look back, often see yourself and realize that you have changed a lot? If you think that you fall in the above category, congratulations you are growing. This thought has been muddling me for quite a few days. So, I pondered upon it and realized that it is just that we are EVOLVING.

Whoever said that life is meant to be hard, I genuinely second that belief. Rather, I'd say few notions are meant to be learned the hard way. Sometimes there comes a time all you wanted or wished to do: you can see falling right in front of you. Nevertheless, you are the decision maker whether you wish to learn, grow and move on or weep upon the same. Ultimately, your possible course of action can tell a lot about you. Recently, I was clustered in thoughts which made me hesitant and curious about how and when I will accomplish what I hoped for. However, don’t you think that it’s just the process? None of us wants to be on the darker side, but it’s that you go through and be a better version of yourself.

Close your eyes, do it, trust me. Now think about a blunder which you did in your personal or professional life and perceive that. I am damn sure, you transposed. It is just these lessons which will make you build your Rome.

Often, there will be cases where you will be lost, and be willing to fail because without those times you will never be able to taste the success. However, if you are not failing at sometime I believe you are not taking enough risks. Keep exploring, be a fighter you do not know but if you notice one can get to absorb new things every single day, just into the details. Don’t hold yourself, inculcate new concepts in your life. By and large, you are getting sculptured for the greater good.
