Jam Jar

In this transition, each of us has become future-ready even before we thought of it, similarly, we have also obtained so many options unlatched. When we were kids, we all wanted to become a doctor, someday a lawyer, or maybe run a business or something. Skip to 20 years and you see different career choices right in front of you. The follow-up question is how does one know which career is best suited for them? So, I happened to recently read this book The Defining Decade by Meg Jay- which had a very beautiful case study I’d like to share. It is called the Jam experiment, so they choose a local grocery store to understand one's life choices. So, there were two conditions, one which has six flavors available for tasting, whereas in the second condition it has six plus the eighteen more flavors of jam. Cut to the chase study showed that the twenty-four-flavor table attracted more attention yet resulted in fewer buyers. Shoppers flocked to the exciting array, yet most became overwhelmed

Self Doubt

I get worried about my friend Paul.

Past Mistakes have made him learn and grow to a great extent. Some day he pushes himself and there are days where he feels guilty for decisions he is making about his life.

It's not only about his academics, past relationships, friendships, or maybe opting for something in his interest but for every decision he is definite about. I think it's pretty natural to feel for someone.

Clear depiction of how lousy one feels. Self doubt stops us from moving ahead and we hesitate for commitments we make.

Indeed some level of self doubt and worrying is healthy as these doubts rather help us to question of what could be better for us and challenge ourselves as we reflect inward.

However, with all these chronic states of our society it pushes to an extent to focus only on our flaws. It's hard time to see what lies beyond and that's when you find least motivated. It is evident to say that you ought defect in whatever you do. In many instances you think I shouldn't, I couldn't; your inferior parts starts ruling over the real you. Chances are you sometimes get into a fight with your mind, which chips your confidence that dial up your doubts

Few ways to hold back your self doubt:
Practice Gratitude. Try to find good in bad, make a list of things that you are appreciative about.
"Let us rise up and be thankful, for it didn't learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn't learn a little at least we didn't get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn't die; so us all be thankful."

Treat yourself like the most essential person. Celebrate your every small win.

Express how you feel. Pour your heart out and if you are on the other side LISTEN to that person, don't counter opinion.

Challenge your abilities. You can achieve anything you want, if that thing was planted in your heart it is for a reason.

Accept what comes and move on, don't stereotype basis on your past experience.

Empower yourself with constructive answers, and of course try having new interactions. Such feelings assist us to relate better.

To sum up, discover your strengths, believe, dream, inspire, look within and enjoy the journey.
